Self-Treating Mild Anxiety

If you feel overwhelmed, just go to the bathroom or someplace else that you can take a couple minutes to clear your head. Sometimes, you just need to clear your head and focus on the problem at hand. That’s when a short break can make all the difference.

Another thing you can do for anxiety attacks is to create a calming image in your head. The image could be almost anything. You might picture your family, your favorite vacation spot or anything else that you feel is a calming picture. Then, all you have to do is picture that image in your head whenever you are having an attack.

Anxiety attacks are not something that can be cured in a day. If you want to regain control of your life, it’s going to take time and effort.
