If you wish to stop having panic attacks, then a factor of your healing of the utmost importance is the decision you make to do so; that decision being strong and unshakable. After you’ve settled on a plan or cure to follow, it is integral that you are assiduous in keeping on track with it. It is sad then, that even though many are aware of the simple steps they have to take to be rid of their suffering, that they are still stuck with their condition. How could this be?

The answer is that they have a lack of emotional leverage spurring them on to stop having panic attacks. This is because they don’t put in the effort to build additional leverage in order to drive them to success. It is estimated that approximately 80% of all goals aren’t reached – being able to make a solid decision and stick to it will prevent this.

Now that we understand the importance of leverage, how could we go about using its power? There are numerous simple ways to do so. One example of this is to imagine yourself some years in the future, if you were to keep having panic attacks at a more frequent pace. How does this affect your life? What affect does this have on your work, or the relationship with your family? This will give you lots of emotional backing to achieve a future where the situation is the exact opposite.

Another instance you could imagine yourself in is having a panic attack in a situation where it would be extremely embarrassing for you to do so. This will give you an emotionally powerful reminder to stick to achieving your goals, each and every time you seem to find your efforts slipping.

You are only limited by your own creativity in thinking up ways of getting leverage to stop having panic attacks. Unfortunately, there a very large number of those who suffer from panic attacks will never be free of their condition, because of a lack of a strong decision on their part, or not enough to desire to stick to their cure. Having a solid amount of leverage behind you will prevent this.
