As anyone will anxiety disorders will tell you, we can only too well recognise the onset of a panic attack.
First off, let me put my heart on the table here. I suffered from Anxiety Attacks, Panic Attacks, Stress disorders, and even really bad depression, for over 13 years.
I should state from the outset that I possess no accreditation in the field of anxiety disorders, nor do I have any medical qualifications.
My own experiences of anxiety disorders covers over 13 years. You name it and I had it at some time or other, in spades. To the sufferer anxiety attacks can be terrifying, and to the non-suffering onlooker they can be bewildering. They usually are totally unaware of how they can help.
My own history of Anxiety Disorders goes back some 13 years. In that time I have experienced just about everything this awful ailment can throw at you and amassed a huge amount of knowledge as a result.
I believe that if you asked people to list what they hated most, public speaking would figure very highly, perhaps it even top that list. The majority of people simply dread the prospect of ever having to speak in public, even at something as modest as a family wedding.
My personal experience of anxiety disorders, covering some 13 years, has taught me that they can have a huge negative impact on one’s self-estem.
