I’m going to show you how to cure stammering. I know, you are thinking what a bold statement that is, but keep in mind that something as deep-seated as stammering in your psyche isn’t going to be removed just because I say that I am going to show you how to cure stammering. But bear with me a moment as I go on.

What I am going to show you here is not a quick fix. You are not going to wake up in the morning free of your stammering. You will have to do some work on your part. Okay, a lot of work on your part. Because there are certain action steps that I am going to describe to you to get the job done properly.

Most of the people that struggle with stammering have physical and mental blocks. I am going to show you how to plow through these blocks that cause you to stammer. Once you figure out what your blocks are then you are well on your way to better speech. This is one of the many exercises around that will help prove that you can cure stammering.

What you need first to do so you can get started using this exercise is to get a good book or magazine, and find something of interest to you, then time yourself reading this for the next minute. While you are doing this make sure you focus on speaking fluently and clearly. Do not get nervous and stress yourself out over this minute of reading. Don’t let it bother you, just count the words that you read during that time. This way you have a number you can compare to as you make progress. This number is referred to as the baseline.

The first thing you want to do to get started using this exercise is to get hold of a favorite book, or even a magazine that you have lying around Find a selection that you’d like to read from the book or magazine and time yourself reading from this selection over the next minute. You want to focus during that brief minute on speaking as clearly and fluently as you can.

Do it again. Read for a minute out loud, and write down the number. Your goal here is to get faster over time. Do not rush it, take your time. Only get faster if you can make it through your reading without stammering at that speed. Read without stammering, practice will make it better.

Your next step is to read the selection again. You want to read at a pace that is comfortable, but will not invoke any real stammering. Again, don’t stress out if your reading pace is slow. Record how many words you read during that minute. Whether or not it is more or less than the number from before is not important. You just want to focus on reading at a rate of speed that will not cause you to stammer while you are reading.

This is popular amongst those that already have started the healing process or who are starting to learn how to cure stammering. There are a ton more of exercises to help with stammering.

Either you can carry on to suffer with your stammer problem, like you have been for a long time, or you can go straight to those links where I am going to reveal the cause of your stuttering problems, and how you can start speaking fluently very quickly. If you are ready to discover how to cure stammering today, then do not delay.

Many children are susceptible when it comes to having problems with stammering. There are a few things I would like to go into detail about to give them some stammering help. If we can help them through this problem then there confidence will rise and they will defeat this condition.

First you should start by slowing them down. Children for the most part are ninety miles an hour all the time. Begin it with your actions first. Being that children are hyperactive, show them they can get in control of their stammering by bringing it down a notch or two. Start by slowing down. When you show them that slowing down helps, they will begin to slow down over time.

Many times children speak about as fast as they run around. Their tongues never stop moving, which can really mess with their speech. While we are trying to get them to slow down physically, let’s get them to slow their talking down to.

Let your child that you are giving stammering help to know that they need to have a lot of patience if they ever want to be able to get out what they want to say. Teach them to take their time and the stammering tongue will eventually go away. Sadly, if they rush through it all the time, it could cause many more problems in their speech down the road. This stands true for both kids and adults.

Teach your child to visualize what they are saying. Kind of compare it to daydreaming. Tell them to daydream about the words they want to say. Then tell the child to picture them speaking what’s on their mind to someone else. It is kind of like rehearsal for their speech. When they come rushing through the house excited about something, ask them to pause and gather their thoughts before they speak.

Do not force the words out. Proper stammering help is to remember to not get into a hurry. No one is standing by with a stop watch timing the speech. If speech is hurried it only makes it worse. Just relax and get rid of those things that may be bothering the child. Then let them go for it, you may get a wonderful surprise.

Remember to give out rewards to your child for the effort they give. There is no better stammering help you can give your child than rewarding them for their actions. They will try much harder when there is a treat involved. What child doesn’t want some candy or a trip to the store for a surprise? They will work very hard in improving themselves!

Let your child know that everything is a process. The more they try and the harder they work will always pay off. It is no different than anything else in their little lives. When you continue to try and don’t give up, you will succeed at everything. This is some of the best stammering help you can give your child. Let them have fun and they will get over their stammering issue.

Either you can continue to suffer with your stutter problem, like you have been for a long time, or you can go straight to those links where I am going to reveal the cause of your stuttering problems, and how you can start speaking fluently very quickly.

When a person who suffers from stuttering tries to hide from it, to pretend that the problem doesn’t exist, we as a society have only ourselves to blame. It could be something as simple as hiding certain words, or using different words that are easier to say.

Those of us who can remember as far back as elementary school can also remember that kids can be cruel, especially if someone is a little bit “different” than the rest of them. This is especially true of stutterers. What is a kid to do when faced with the threat of ridicule on a daily basis? Its fight or flight, and most kids who are teased because of stuttering will choose flight. This means they will try to cover up or hide their ailment. Find a kid who says “ummm” or “uhhh” a lot, and you have found a kid who is possibly covering up a bigger issue, by making it seem like he or she is just thinking of what to say next.

Minor stutterers will usually use this exact routine. What really is a bad thing is when fellow students at school ridicule and pick on the stutterer. Often times the parents will brush it of and say that there is no serious problem.

If you know or have met someone, old or young, that wants say certain words, or just doesn’t say a whole lot, then you probably know a stutterer and many times they will use different words than the words you know they want to say. Be careful on how you react with this person and it can be detrimental to their emotional well being.

If a person has gone so far in their suffering to actually be employing techniques for masking or hiding their stutter, then they are walking down a dangerous, emotional path which can only lead to depression. Just think of the stress and strain they must be under, having to watch what they say, unable to say a great many things the way they want to, and unable to express themselves exactly as they’d wish. All this because they are worried or even afraid that their condition would be brought to light and they’d have to suffer embarrassment or the torture of ridicule.

A lot of times stutterers will avoid everything and disconnect themselves from society. It all begins when they say something a certain way in a public environment and they notice that you avoid them, so they feel the denial. So what happens next is they start to avoid all social gatherings and becomes a loner. Why does this happen? There are some of those people who have a lot that they could contribute to the society around them, but their minds are locked away. Their scared of getting close to people because they don’t want to get made fun of.

You can see how this sad existence can be avoided, can’t you? How you can play a huge part in helping our fellow stutterer out? All it would take is a simple act of kindness, an acknowledging of the existence of the problem, a willingness to help him or her cope with the situation, even shrugging it off as no big deal. This by no means is a way of saying that the problem should be ignored, just that its negativity should not be highlighted. Sure, there is a speech problem with your friend. So what? Let’s focus on how we can communicate, and not tease or mock or ridicule the person with the problem. Same goes for parents. Don’t leave them alone with their problem. Help them face it. It is your responsibility, too.

When you accept that there is a problem, you are ready to help deal with it, and your seeking solutions to help the stutterer with this problem, this will mean so much to them and will help them overcome their stutter. This is a joint effort!

Either you can continue to suffer with your stammer problem, like you have been for a long time, or you can go straight to these links where I am going to reveal the cause of your stuttering problems, and how you can start speaking fluently very quickly.

Buying into all that hype about the impossibility of overcoming a stammering problem won’t solve your problem. The sad thing is that most of the negative talk is coming from the speech therapists who claim that there is no cure for stammering. But if you ask former stammers, they would have you believe different. Why? They are former stammerers after all. So who are you going to listen to, speech therapists who are in business because you are a stammerer, or former stammerers who are where you want to be?

So, the first step to learning how to overcome stammering is learning to listen to the right people and tune out all the people who would see you fail. Ask yourself, “If they can do it, why can’t you?” Well, why can’t you? What is stopping you from taking the steps to overcoming your stammering? Are you ready to find out if it is possible?

Well, do you? Do you think to learn how to overcome stammering is an easy thing to do? Or are these therapists right? Keep in mind that there is no such thing as a free lunch or an easy ride, and that goes doubly so for trying to learn how to overcome stammering. It is not an easy thing to overcome, but it is doable. So, if you are looking for an overnight solution, forget it. You’d be much better off learning underwater basket weaving than buying into that statement. But, knowing that there is a tough road ahead, are you willing to put it all on the line to achieve your goal of overcoming stammering?

There is a lot of practice involved in the solution. Once you learn what the techniques are, you must practice them diligently, daily, for as long as it takes to overcome your stammering. It also involves learning a new way of speaking that will eventually become a natural part of your everyday style of speaking. But, ask any former stammerer if they were willing to put in the work and practice, none of them were bothered by the fact that they had a lot of practice ahead of them when they first started learning how to overcome stammering themselves. After all, to a former stammerer, to no longer have this speech impediment has done nothing short of changed their lives.

How long does it take? How many countless hours must you toil, drenched in blood, sweat and tears until you finally achieve the results you are looking forward to? The answer to that is as different as there are people with stammering problems. Each person is different, and will work at and respond to the learned techniques differently. If you go by the averages, you are looking at around three months of putting the nose…or the voice…to the grindstone.

While being faced with meeting new people can make someone who suffers from a stammering problem nervous, thereby making the stammering worsen, there are many former stammerers who have learned how to overcome stammering and are willing to teach others. This makes current stammerers less nervous.

There are also other ways to learn these techniques. CDs, DVDs and eBooks are available, depending upon your style of learning. You know what way works best for you. The thing is, just find that way, get out there and do it. Practice till it almost hurts your tongue. But don’t stop until the journey’s end.

Go to Google. Search for stammering therapy courses. This will get you going in the right direction so that you, too, can someday call yourself a former stammerer.

Either you can carry on to suffer with your stammer problem, like you have been for a long time, or you can go straight to those links where I am going to reveal the cause of your stuttering problems, and how you can start speaking fluently very quickly.

Young or old, kids or adults, it doesn’t matter. Stammering can strike anyone, anywhere, for any one of numerous reasons. While being a stammering sufferer can be frustrating, it is possible to find a stammer cure. But, a word of warning. Along the way you will run across advocates of the theory that a stammer cure is a myth, that there really isn’t one. You need to avoid the spell of these people. Don’t listen to their heresy. You will recognize these negative people by the sign on their doors. It says they call themselves “speech therapists.”

Many of the so called “professionals” say there is no cure for those that stammer, especially speech therapists. The reason for this is often times they can’t get their patients to speak fluently, hence the reason for the negativity. This discourages those people who have a stammer to not to want to even try.

You see, we know that there is a stammer cure. We can see success stories all the time. In fact, some of the most famous stammer sufferers in the world have documented their cases by the sheer fact that they are well-known people. Perhaps you’ve heard of Julia Roberts, Tiger Woods, or Bruce Willis? All three of these celebrities have overcome their stammer and gone on to successful careers in the public eye since then. But it isn’t just celebrities who have found a stammer cure. Even average Joes have conquered this speech impediment. That tells me that anyone can, even you.

As stated above, there have been a large number of people who have actually found a stammer cure. People like your normal average person as well as some famous people have overcome stammering. If you were to go to Google right now and type in “famous people who have overcome stammering” you will see many famous people who had a speech issue. People like Bruce Willis, Tiger Woods, and Julia Roberts, just to name a few.

There are a great many techniques that you can use to get you where you want to be. There are just as many people who still suffer from stammering, who have tried to overcome their problem. But they didn’t. Whether this is because they chose to give up or to listen to the speech therapists isn’t quite certain. The only thing that is certain is that they chose not to go on, but you don’t have to make that choice.

It’s true that with so many techniques there is the learning curve to consider. Everyone is different in their approach to learning how to do something. So to ask how long it would take to get to a stammer cure is like asking how long it takes for people to walk from Los Angeles to New York City. The answer would be different, because it would be based upon the individual effort. But, it is safe to say that, on average, people who are diligent in their efforts with stammering cure techniques have found themselves completely cured and able to speak fluently in about three months.

When you are looking for that stammer cure you will find that there are many types of therapy out there. There are e-books, speech courses, audio books, and many other self help products for stammering. With all these types of therapy you shouldn’t have a problem with a stammer cure.

Just remember when you are searching for a stammer cure that there are those out there who don’t believe it is possible to cure a stammer. Stay away from all this negativity. Grab yourself a good book on stammering and start applying yourself. The stammer cure is right in front of you so reach out and grab it!

Either you can carry on to suffer with your stammer problem, like you have been for a long time, or you can go straight to those links where I am going to reveal the cause of your stuttering problems, and how you can start speaking fluently very quickly. If you are ready to discover the stammer cure, then do not delay.
