I’m going to show you how to cure stammering. I know, you are thinking what a bold statement that is, but keep in mind that something as deep-seated as stammering in your psyche isn’t going to be removed just because I say that I am going to show you how to cure stammering. But bear with me a moment as I go on.
Many children are susceptible when it comes to having problems with stammering. There are a few things I would like to go into detail about to give them some stammering help. If we can help them through this problem then there confidence will rise and they will defeat this condition.
When a person who suffers from stuttering tries to hide from it, to pretend that the problem doesn’t exist, we as a society have only ourselves to blame. It could be something as simple as hiding certain words, or using different words that are easier to say.
Buying into all that hype about the impossibility of overcoming a stammering problem won’t solve your problem. The sad thing is that most of the negative talk is coming from the speech therapists who claim that there is no cure for stammering. But if you ask former stammers, they would have you believe different. Why? They are former stammerers after all. So who are you going to listen to, speech therapists who are in business because you are a stammerer, or former stammerers who are where you want to be?
Young or old, kids or adults, it doesn’t matter. Stammering can strike anyone, anywhere, for any one of numerous reasons. While being a stammering sufferer can be frustrating, it is possible to find a stammer cure. But, a word of warning. Along the way you will run across advocates of the theory that a stammer cure is a myth, that there really isn’t one. You need to avoid the spell of these people. Don’t listen to their heresy. You will recognize these negative people by the sign on their doors. It says they call themselves “speech therapists.”
