3. Obliques: Doing an oblique stretch can help tighten and tone your waist line. To stretch your obliques, put your feet together and using the same weights, lift the right weight as high as you can toward your right armpit, bending your elbow toward the ceiling. Lower the weight and lift the left weight in the same manner and repeat twenty times on each side.
4. Ballet Squat: Ballet is a wonderful sport to do even if just on your own. Stretching your body in any way can really help tone and strengthen your muscles so doing ballet will help you lose weight fast. A really simple ballet squat is an excellent way to strengthen your entire leg and buttocks. To perform this stretch, open your legs to second position with your feet pointed outward. Keep your knees over your ankles and lower yourself slowly; hold the weights in front of you. Straighten back up with your knees slightly bent, repeat this motion twenty-five times.
5. Tailbone Lift: The last stretch that is great for strengthening your lower abdominal muscles is the tailbone lift. To perform this stretch lay on your back with your hands interwoven behind your head. Lift your legs up and keep them as straight as you possibly can above your hips. Lift your tailbone off of the floor one inch and bring back down slowly; do this exercise twenty-five times.
