Are You Showing A Panic Attack Symptom?
If we are to line up and rank all the mental disorders known to man, at least, one in the top three would be panic attack. This is how feared panic attack is. Survey has it that more than four million Americans suffer from this disorder. It is so heart breaking to hear such a number suffer for so much but that is what is real. We cannot escape it and w cannot even run away from it. Living a life with panic attack for those who suffer is considered half life. They do not live half as what is expected to.
Books about mental disorder define panic attack as a “period of intense fear and discomfort.” From its definition we can tell that it is no ordinary mental disorder. “Intense fear” is something not common as compared to just plain fear.
Fear alone is a common sensation. We feel it in everyday we live. It happens when we walk on the street or drink coffee in a restaurant. Intense fear on the other hand is another story. As what is mentioned above, we can say that it is one thing to fear, and it is another thing to fear intensely.
Panic attack symptoms have a long list. It is good to know what panic attack is but it is better to know the symptoms of it. When you know the symptom of an illness, then you will see and at least have an idea whether you have it or not, or whether you show panic attack symptoms. To check these symptoms if it present in you, here are the top three panic attack symptoms that you must remember.
Number one on the top three is the “racing heart”. If we are to put it in similitude with a car, a normal heart beat would be a family car and a heart beat under panic attack would be a formula car. Those who have experienced this even say that they think it will burst out of their chest. Ever seen a race car going out of track of two much speed?
Number two on the top three is the shortness of breath. Some would coin this as difficulty of breathing. They are the same thing. It is like climbing the tip of Mt. Everest with oxygen supply or you could imagine your air passage in your through being tightly tied into a know so as to make less air pass it. Persons with asthma do not need to imagine this. This is the closest they could get to this symptom.
The last symptom (only in this article because there are still a lot in the list) which is very common with panic attack is trembling with sweating. This trembling mind you is not just ordinary trembling but they are uncontrolled trembling. The sweating is like the normal sweating but what is wrong about it is the fact that there is really no reason to sweat at all. You just sweat because of a fear that is only contained in your head.
These are the sure panic attack symptoms. These are the most common. It is important to asses yourself whether you show these symptoms or not.
