All of us experienced at least a little anxiety on occasion. It’s the unusual person who doesn’t fear public speaking or making a major presentation at work. We may be scared of driving on a busy road and so on.

The body reacts by releasing adrenaline in the bloodstream, which increases the heart beat, causes fast and shallow breathing, constricts the pupils and causes many other physical reactions in the body. Some people can also get headaches, become restless, get agitated or feel numb.
