Win the Fight by Knowing your ANxiety Attack Symptoms

Anxiety Attacks can be a troubling and at times terrifying experience. Some believe they are about to have a heart attack while others fear suffocating to death. The truth is that these are simply anxiety attack symptoms that once understood can be controlled.

Being able to recognize these anxiety attack symptons as they start can be extremely beneficial. By learning to identify the symptons you can over learn to rememdy the situation in the early stages of an attack.

Everyone has different anxiety attacks and may experience unique symptoms however there are several common anxiety attack symptoms that everyone should take notice of. These are heart palpatations, shortness of breath, and fealing lightheaded.

Anxiety Attack Symptoms to Look out for:

1. The first and scariest symptom for most is heart pounding. During an anxiety attack the heart tends to beat faster and cause more notice to an individual. This in turn causes most to believe they are experiencing a heart attack which will kill them. This panic further leads the individual into the anxiety attack. In reality the heart pounding causes no actual damage or harm other than the false fear it invokes.

2. Trouble breathing is often part of the anxiety attack symptom mix. Often described as short and rapid your breathe during an attack can cause you to believe you are suffocating. Like with the heart attack this fear of impedending death often leads to a much worse attack in the end. In reality you will never suffocate, there is actually nothing dangerous going on, it’s important to recognzie your breathing will return back to normal right after the attack.

3. The last of the common symptoms is lightheadedness. This symptom can cause a person to believe that they are dizzy or about to faint. It occurs most often in large crowds and chaotic events. The key to this symptom is knowing that you will not actually faint but are just dizzy. It is easier to pretend that you just spun in circles a couple times like when a child.

Identifying your own anxiety attack symptoms is key to stopping the problem altogether. Knowledge is power and the knowledge of your attack symptoms can help you rationally calm yourself down in the middle of an attack rather that provoke it. So next time you feel your heart beating, lungs tightening, and head spinning stop for a moment and remember, none of these things can hurt you.
